Walk Description
A delightful walk around a gorgeous lake that takes in some superb scenery. The route is broadly flat apart from two short uphill sections. The walk starts at White Moss car park, making parking easy and Grasmere village a convenient half way point to break the walk with a visit to pubs or tea rooms. There’s also the opportunity to visit the Wordsworth Museum and Dove Cottage – although do allow more time for this. There are numerous places to simply relax or take a picnic by a lovely shoreline setting. The kids also enjoy the water’s edge and the freedom to explore the woodland paths.
