Walk Description
An easy circular walk around a quiet, delightful lake set in gentle countryside featuring fells and forestation. The wonderful scenery and tranquillity provide the perfect setting to take a leisurely stroll, a picnic, or simply a place to escape to. There is also plenty of opportunity for the kids to explore the lake shore and surrounding woodland. A section of the walk however does follow a quiet country lane so keep children and dogs closely supervised. Much of the walk is suitable for pushchairs, however, later sections are unsuitable crossing rugged paths, stiles and narrow bridges. When the walk is finished, a short drive to the nearby Kirkstile Inn provides welcome refreshment.
