Walk Description
An easy, circular walk around a beautiful lake taking in some great scenery. The route is simple to follow with only a small amount of climb but this rewards you with even more cracking views. There are many places to picnic or to simply take time out to appreciate the delights before you. The kids enjoyed the freedom to explore, particularly by the shoreline although a change of clothes may be needed! At the half way point there is the opportunity for refreshment at Badgers Bar before the short climb to some breathtaking views. Rydal Mount the former home of William Wordsworth is also on the route.
