Walk Description
Fewston Reservoir offers a relaxing, circular walk around its shoreline with great views. A great place to unwind and take time out. The path is well made and easy to follow, passing through forestation and open country along the way. Also, keep a look out for heron flying gracefully over the water. The kids are free to explore, though they need close supervision approaching and over the lane over the dam head. The walk can be done in either direction and from car parks at either end of the reservoir. Walking from Blubberhouses car park gives a refreshment opportunity half way round. On completing the walk, The Hopper Inn, half a mile up the road, provides a welcome way to end the day.
