Walk Description
A gentle return riverside walk to the delightful village of Starbotton, the scenery of the upper Wharfedale valley is superb. The kids can safely lead the walk and will enjoy the stepping stones crossing the river near Starbotton. A wooden footbridge provides an alternate crossing should the river level be too high. Pubs at either end of the walk provide opportunity for refreshment. Make a day of it by taking lunch at the delightful Fox & Hounds in Starbotton, or a picnic by the river before returning to Buckden.
