Walk Description
A spectacular walk at any time of year but particularly after wet weather as heavy water flows make the waterfalls more dramatic. It is a favourite for all the family and each visit is different and enjoyable. The first half is a gradual climb but with lots of viewing points to appreciate the falls and a very welcome refreshment hut near the top. Thornton Force is magnificent and the path over the near perpendicular gorge near Snow falls is amazing. We often precede our walk with a picnic, then, afterwards the Falls Cafe or numerous pubs in the delightful village of Ingleton provide ample refreshment.
