Price Value Quality We love this walk, very easy on the feet and the tarn is stunning.
A picnic on the hill overlooking the lake is highly recommended.
The kids loved running into the woods and not exactly taking the fixed route. On the route back it is worth taking a detour down towards the island, gave a whole new view of the Tarn,
The ice cream man at the top again was welcomed , as were the new loo's the NT have built.
The is an expensive carpark , but do not let that put you off what is a lovely, easy walk.(Posted on 25/04/2011)
