We took our 1-year old (plus pushchair) on this walk. The actual path along the riverside looks lovely, but its no good if you have any sort of wheels with you.
The alternative route along the service road is easy to navigate, and a very pleasant walk thro woodlands - BUT .. the road has drainage gulleys running across it about every 100yds or so. If you've got a larger wheeled pushchair you might manage a bit better than we did - our small-wheeled buggy struggled and these did become a bit of a pain to navigate after a while.
That said, Gibsons Mill is gorgeous and well worth seeing. It was an enjoyable afternoon out. Good baby change facilities at the Mill too!
