Walk Description
For reasonably fit walkers, perhaps not very young children, as the walk climbs 450 feet. A short, steep climb up a well-marked path soon brings you to the delightful Lanty’s Tarn, a small lake surrounded by woodland. Then a short stroll over to Keldas delivers fantastic views of Ullswater. Keldas is an amazing place to enjoy the grandeur or to set down for a picnic, its pine trees framing the setting perfectly. The route is little known so free from crowds and its destination an ideal place to get away from it all and unwind.
