Walk Description
Our youngster’s favourite place! The flat lakeside circuit and surrounding woodland provides a delightful setting and a place of tranquillity. There are many excellent woodland trails by which the walk can be extended from the lakeside path walk of 1 ¼ miles. The additional trails are highlighted on the attached route map, there are some climbs on the extended walks but nothing too demanding. Our preference is to walk anti-clockwise so that we pass the shop and visitor centre near the end of the walk. There are various viewing points around the lake and picnic opportunities. The kids also enjoy feeding the ducks.
