Walk Description
Ambleside is a lovely place and this gem of a walk is simply a fantastic way of spending time – don’t forget to take your camera! The ascent to the summit involves a steep climb but take your time as it rewards you with a magnificent view at the top. Even if you don’t reach the summit the views are still breathtaking and the amble to the waterfall is delightful with plenty of interest for the kids. Afterwards there are numerous pubs, cafes and tearooms offering welcome refreshment. We have tried several and not been disappointed.
