Walk Description
A fantastic circular walk! A short climb in the early stages leads to sensational views across Ullswater and the surrounding fells and valleys. Around the half way point a short detour to the Silver Bay shoreline provides a wonderful setting to take time out or have a picnic, my children also loved the water’s edge. The return path provides pleasing views and opportunity for refreshment at the Patterdale Hotel Bar or the White Lion pub. Following our walk, we took a trip on a motor boat, hired a mile up the road at St Patrick’s Boat Hire. Our youngest remarked “this is the best day ever!”
