Walk Description
This is a wonderful ‘there and back’ walk and great for the kids. The walk is best done at low tide providing more beach and rock pools to explore. During high tide you need to follow the coastal path and trails through the sand dunes. We always enjoy the visit to Whitby marking the half way point. There is plenty to see and do, so we often extend the day spending time in the town and in particular with kid’s activities. The views are superb and this walk always provides a great opportunity to unwind. There are numerous refreshment opportunities in Whitby and a cafe and pub in Sandsend.
