Walk Description
A delightful, circular walk (can be shortened to a 3 miles there and back route) taking in Appletreewick and a wonderful section of the Dales Way beside the river Wharfe. Starting and finishing in Burnsall the route passes through some glorious Dales countryside and provides a great opportunity to relax and take in the scenery. Pubs en route (Red Lion and Craven Arms) also provide another interest and have on many occasions added to the enjoyment of our family day. The longer circular route involves a stretch of country lane so care is needed particularly with children.
